Just had to leave another local forum when the owner began removing posts that were critical of our mayor. OK to be open and honest here?

welcome guys.  I can say I have never seen a post removed here.  I came here after I was banned from a site with a similar name to this one except it ended in Planet not Flint.  Banned for standing up for a member who was being bullied by a moderator.  I was told to shut up or be banned so of course I didn't shut up.  I believe i know what site you guys are talking about and am not at all impressed with them.  Anyways it will be nice to see some more posts around here and hopefully it will make this a much more active forum.

I realize this at this site we mainly talk about development around the city but I am more than willing to talk politics and criticize the mayor, just look at my back and forth with Ted Jankowski.  So feel free.

Welcome, all (I know I'm pretty late, sorry). Don't be afraid to start new topics. Tongue The only thing we don't tolerate is spam, blatantly offensive posts, and personal attacks. We just don't want to have posts that make new members hesitant to join our conversations and have civil discussions. Other than that, you're opinions are very welcome.

If you guys/gals feels that a politics subforum should be added to separate topics, then I'll happily oblige.

As far as deleting posts, the only posts we've deleted were spam posts from Internet robots and I've edited one person's posts where he copied and pasted the same exact long message in several different posts. And even then, I simply cut the repeated posts and provided a link to the original posting.

If in the rare chance that something does come up where a person gets their post edited or removed, just contact me and I'll try to discuss and explain everything the best I can.
