What about listing the neighborhoods by their precinct numbers, names of the neighborhoods could be added as a guide.  Like, if you live in Mott Park, your precinct (and area to post in) would be __.  Just a thought.

My flyer is really nothing fancy.  I tried to keep it simple.  It has the Urban Flint banner on the top and then list www.urbanflint.com in black type below that.  I was thinking I should make something more informative for the inside of restaurants.  I will send you a copy.  It's not on this computer.

yeah, Dnast if you wanna get toegether sometime so we can figure out how tie everything together let me know.  I am pretty flexible with weekends and after 5 on weekdays.  Just let me know, I know you are busy as well.

Unfortunately I've been busy all weekend, but tomorrow I think I'll go grab some photos if the sun stays out. If you want, we can start working on the basis of the neighborhood pages on PM, gumby.

I was also thinking we could possibly take a wiki approach to providing information on the various neighborhoods in the city. We could allow participating members to add any missing information that's needed without having to go through me or another admin/mod, but I would have to do a little research on how to prevent information sabotage first to be on the safe side.

After thinking about it, Mama Jackson, I believe that you're right in that it would be best to break down the forums into wards initially. If a ward gets enough regular posters to warrant further definition of neighborhoods then subforums could be added for the various neighborhood in that ward.

A few years ago I found a pretty good list of Flint's neighborhoods and block clubs, but I'm not sure if I could track it down now. If anyone has a list with a significant amount of neighborhood names, please post it so we could expand on it.
