Despite losing the charter flights to Chicago, it sounds like Bishop is going to keep doing really well, with AirTran just adding nonstop flights to Vegas last week, and with Northwest and AirTran both planning to start nonstop flights to Fort Myers in November.

Also, AirTran is planning on adding a hub at Detroit Metro, which I would assume means that Bishop would get some flights from Detroit too as connector flights.

Yeah, it Bishop has been handling its setbacks pretty well. I wonder what its ridership numbers are for the first half of the year.

Bishop is adding 2 daily non-stop flights to Chicago through American Eagle, a smaller airline of American Airlines, beginning on December 15th. Cheesy

I'm glad Bishop was able to get Chicago flights back. That was a big loss when ATA left. Demand will probably be pretty high considering that they were filling 7 daily flights to Chicago earlier this year.
